Our Mission
Welcome to Racquet Club West, one of 52 organized neighborhoods within the City of Palm Springs. Our City created neighborhoods to further the sense of community and to provide an avenue for neighborhoods to interact with the City and to develop local programs.
The Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS) serves as the umbrella for neighborhoods and Racquet Club West participates monthly in their meetings that are open to the public. Find out more about ONE-PS at www.ONE-PS.org
The mission of the Racquet Club West Neighborhood is to provide information to neighbors about disaster preparedness; inform neighbors about city plans for streets, parks and infrastructure; develop programs that promote positive interaction among neighbors and to influence city policy on various topis impacting the neighborhood and the city.
We hold an annual meeting each spring and a fall membership meeting. In between the Board of local individuals elected at the annual meeting meet to develop programs and discuss issues. We do not have dues and membership is open to all who live withing our boundaries (south of San Rafael to Vista Chino between Palm Canyon and Indian Canyon). Sign up to be on our email list.
We also host the “Little Free Library” at 505 W Yorba and annually we have a “peanut butter” drive to support local food banks and kitchens. Information is also sent via the Nextdoor website and we encourage you to also join Nextdoor (some great news mixed with other stuff!!). Nextdoor.com
We live n a great city and in a great neighborhood. Get involved and be part of Racquet Club West.
